Case Study

Goal

The goal of this campaign was to create an educational yet empathetic resource for parents and
loved ones dealing with the repercussions of having a child with Cerebral Palsy

Strategy

  • I began this campaign by conducting in-depth research into the condition of Cerebral Palsy, the long-term effects that this condition has on the inflicted, as well as what family members go through to support a child with Cerebral Palsy.
  • In my research, I found how birth injuries can be caused by medical errors, linking medical professionals as a liability in cases such as these.
  • I also included statistics on the amount of money is costs caretakers for life-long treatment: a vital component in determining a settlement amount for a medical malpractice case.
  • For this campaign, the graphic designer and I used muted and soft colors to potentially keep the reader at ease rather on edge while scrolling through the landing page
  • I kept the tone professional, yet empathetic, putting myself in the place of a parent or caretaker going through this process and looking for not just legal answers, but also a caring ear.
  • I included an FAQ page to direct some of the most pressing questions for caretakers, but with our CTAs we made it clear that legal staff is available to take their call and answer questions in a free consultation.
  • I kept the bottom upbeat with an image of supporting hands, and words that accompanied it to make the reader feel at ease and ready to place a phone call.
